Our story

Who are behind all this?

We are Pavel Viitasalo and Markus Yli-Kivistö. We are two young lads with an excellent outlook on life by which we want to do as much good as entrepreneurs as possible.

We met in the summer of 2020 at the Reserve Officer School, where a bad attitude wasn’t really an option. That attitude must have remained.

We are studying at the University of Vaasa and we started dreaming about entrepreneurship in summer 2021. The idea of Jetlyfe was born later that summer. Dreams became deeds when we started planning our business idea, marketing and ancillary activities.

The 2022 summer was our first and it was very rewarding for us. We got heaps of experience of different customers and situations. We have improved our business for example by changing berths of the jet-skis and by acquiring a container to the Kruununmakasiini area.

Our original business idea was to bring the sea and the Vaasa archipelago closer to Vaasa residents, visiting locals and foreigners. We will continue implementing our business idea this summer uncompromisingly.

Our vision

Our goal is to make this service desirable. We have gotten customers from Vaasa, from out-of-town and further away from Finland as well as from foreign countries. We hope that we get to serve even more customers this summer.

We are in love with the city of Vaasa, its location, its other businesses and services. We want to give our all to make Vaasa live and prosper. We hope that others will their share of multiplier effect of our potential success.

One day we may be Finland's most desirable jet-ski rental service. Until then we'll work hard and try to improve ourselves as much as possible.
