Frequently asked questions

How do I book?

Intra-day bookings can be easily made via the booking calendar using the "Book Here" button in the upper right corner. You can also call or email us, you can pay by card and contactless payment. If you want to rent for a day or longer, make a reservation by calling or email.

Once the booking is made, you can go watch an instructional video on Youtube. Remember to arrive about fifteen minutes before rental on site.

Do I need a driver's license?

Finnish law does not require a jet driver to have a driving license. However, we insist that at least one of the renters has one.

A person, who has not attended our orientation may absolutely not drive a jet-ski.

Equipment?

We offer two life jackets per jet for the entire ride. Each jet-ski is equipped with a plotter that makes it easy to navigate the waters. We also offer a 20 liter dry bag where you can put your mobile phone and wallet.

What are the rules of water traffic that I should know before driving?

As a small and agile watercraft, a jet-ski dodges all other watercraft. It is especially important to keep speeds low, especially in port areas, and to comply with speed limits. When sailing on watercraft, the route shown on the chartplotter must be followed and must not be deviated from.

Is a second person allowed on the jet-ski?

At first, we don't let any first-timer drive a jet-ski while the other person is on board. We first want to make sure the rider is used to driving and balancing on the jet-ski.

Once we have determined that the driver is qualified enough, we will allow the other person to come on board as well. However, it is important to remember that the jet-ski tilts sensitively. Balancing your own body is therefore as important as careful driving.

Is fuel included in our prices?

Fuel is included in the rent if you have paid for it. Otherwise, the customer must refuel themselves during the rental period. Refueling takes place at Vaskiluoto boat refueling station, where you can pay with a bank card. Our jet-skis must be refueled with 98E fuel.

Our jet-skis consume about 5-10 liters of fuel per hour, depending on your driving style.

What kind of weather is optimal for jet-skiing?

The most important thing is to monitor the wind speed. A suitable wind for beginners is less than 5 m/s. Usually, days like these may be cloudy, but offer the best driving experience. So you don't always have to stare at just the temperature and sunshine. We recommend evenings and mornings for driving, in which case it is usually the most serene.

If the wind exceeds the 6 m/s limit, we do not recommend jet skiing at such a time. We ourselves have stated that driving is not comfortable at all on those wind speeds.
